Opening Links Using Windows7 And The Latest Upgrade Of Im Premium

I have for all the added IM products but still can't get thru to support. Since I downloaded the last upgrade my IM will not open any links sent to my email box and even some web pages. The chat site advised a method that didn't work and I've tried for weeks. Please advise on how to open these links. thanks.

Close IncrediMail completely from the Tray (right-click the envelope icon next to your Computer clock and click 'Exit'), and then do the following:

1. Open Internet Explorer, click the 'Tools' menu (“gear” symbol, marked below in and select 'Internet Options'.

2. Select the 'Security' tab and click the 'Reset all zones to default level' button .

3. Select the 'Advanced' tab, click 'Reset ...'. After doing so, click 'Restore advanced settings'.

4. Click 'OK' and close all Internet Explorer windows.

5. Open IncrediMail and check to see if you can now click and open links.

This is a classic problem with IE and Incredimail. For some reason IE seems to think that it should be the only program that can open links in email. So to fix this go to IE, TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, ADVANCED and look for "RESET", Click on Reset and all the original settings will go back to IE. Then go back to Incredimail, check to make sure it's set as default email if not make it so. Then open your browser and clik on a link and do the same with the email in Incredimail.
