Who Are You Supposed To Contact When You Choke On A Piece Plastic In Your Drink?

My wife bought my family of 5, 2 adults, and 3 children, food this morning. As I started to take a drink of my large Sprite I was horrified when I sucked up a large piece of plastic and began choking. I tried to call the store to inform them of the problem but they did not answer their phone. So I took the survey on my receipt in the hopes that I might talk to a live person. That didn't happen but I left my information for them to call me back to discuss the issue. My big worry now is that since I am unable to contact the store directly that someone else may have this same issue. It worries me because it's a small town with a lot of kids and one may not be as fortunate as was and they may choke to death. So please advise who you think I should contact....the police? That seems excessive but maybe not.
