Receiving a refund will depend on the situation on which you were unable to travel to your ticketed destination. If you purchased a ticket to Paramaribo (PBM) on KLM and they cancelled the flight or for whatever reason did not fulfill their part of the ticket agreement (getting you to your destination), then you have the right to a full refund. If for some reason you were unable to travel to Paramaribo for a personal reason and was not the fault of KLM, then a refund will subject to the rules of the fare you purchased. If you purchased a nonrefundable ticket and you had to cancel the reservation, then it's unlikely you will receive a refund. But if if the cancellation was involuntary on your behalf, then you definitely should apply for a refund.
