Not Getting My Dnx5140dab To Fully Update.

we had a sat nav installed but the guy thought he was doing us a favour in saving money by giving us an older model. I've tried to download the update, I've taken the files out the folder too. When we plug in the USB/SD it updates the blue tooth and the dab but not the firmware version we need it to so we can get maps. Now we have no maps at all. Any ideas what's going on with it. We have firm wear from 2015 so trying to do 2019. Thanks in advanc
