My Kodak V1073 Camera Turns On But The Screen Will Stay Black.
So last night I used my Kodak touchscreen camera and it seemed to work just fine. But while I was using it, I noticed the color was slightly different on one side. It was almost like a magnet was on it because the color was like a purple tint. Also the screen would flicker for a split second as if it was wanting to turn off or some sort of short somewhere. I don't know what caused it but since I recently moved and didn't know where it had ended up at, I noticed that the frame around the front of the camera is slightly bulged as if it had been dropped.

Unfortunately it does sound like the screen is either broken or dying. You might be able to replace it but it may be cheaper to just buy a new camera. You can buy this same model on Amazon for about $20.
