Is There A Way To Change The Answering Method?
I have to slide over to answer my phone and it hasn't been working so is there a setting somewhere I can change that?

When you are not using the LG Venice™, press the Power/Lock Key to lock your phone.
To wake up your phone, press the Power/Lock Key . The lock screen will appear. Touch and slide the lock screen in any direction to unlock your Home screen. The last screen you viewed will open. I can find no way to stop the phone from ever locking!
