Lacie Hard Drive Power Port Problem

Hi I have an old Lacie 500GB Rug Fwsa external hard drive. I have been using this Hard drive for long time without any problem. I have recently plugged in a wrong power cable which is 10v. For some reason the hard drive isn't working now. Can anyone tell me what I should do please. I have an important files on the drive. Thank yo

If you've lost or broken your power cord - don't worry, it's not hard to replace - once you know the right model of drive you have.

Every LaCie drive has a unique serial number on it - it'll start with "SN", then there's a long number -

Find your serial number, then just go to LaCie's support site at https://www.lacie.com/ie/support/ and type the unique serial number into the box and hit Search.

The site will tell you exactly what model of drive you have!

Just look that up in our Power Supply Finder to buy from MyVolts - we've done all the work finding out what model takes which adaptor.
