S405 Will Not Print From The Wireless After It Goes Into Sleep Mode

The printer works fine on the wireless network until it goes into the sleep mode. Power has to be cycled before it will print again from the wireless network. I get a communication error on the computer I am trying to print from. It will print from via the USB connection after it has gone into the sleep mode.

If your printer is connected to your network, it would be best to assign a static IP address to your printer to prevent it from getting a new IP address from your router. To do that, just get the IP address of your printer, open a browser and type in the IP in the address bar of your browser. Once you have the embedded web server of your printer, click on Configuration > TCP/IP > Uncheck "Enable DHCP" > Submit.

Also, make sure that the firmware of your printer is up to date. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.
