Magellan Roadmate 1220 Will Not Turn On
Hello my name is Tess, I have a Magellan RoadMate 1220. I am unable to get it to turn on completely. The main screen comes up with Magellan at the top and the circle spinning underneith the words. Thats all it does is spin. ((Thats why I got the Magellen because I am always spinning in circles.)) I have taken the back off and unplugged the white conector to try to reset it it didnt work. when this first happened the main screen froze while I was using the map. I turned it off then tried to restart it and it wont turn over.

Try connecting it to your computer, the power connector should be a standard USB connector.
I had problems with the 1200, and just by connecting it to my computer, somehow gets it to correct whatever glitch it has.
This is how I also correct the common problem these have with showing the wrong time and giving you a night screen during the day, and day screen during the night.
Connect to computer, and it somehow resets and fixes this, and then it has the correct time again.
