2003 Mercury Sable Reset Theft Light

car is running than shut it off and try to restart it and it won't start for about 30 minutesand the theft light flashes

Hi. Start off with resetting the computer by removing the positive battery terminal for a minute or two. If that does not remedy the issue, then follow the alarm reset steps on the third answer here http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion-t733_ds527214
