How To Change The Notification Volume On Motorola Electrify

Volume & vibrate Choose volume and vibrate settings that work for you. Settings > Sound: Touch > • Volume: Touch Volume and use the sliders. Tip: To set separate ring and notification volumes, uncheck Use incoming call volume for notifications. • Vibrate: Select Vibrate to feel your phone ring. Touchscreen & keys All these touch features are great, and sometimes it's nice to hear or feel your touches too. Touch > Settings > Sound: • Touchscreen: To hear screen touches (click), select Audible selection. • Keys: To feel key touches (vibrate), select Haptic feedback.

Hi,

Here's how to change the notication volume on your phone.

From the home screen touch > Settings > Sound >Volume. This opens a dialog where you can drag a slider to set the volume of ringtones that sound when you receive a phone call.


Silence a Specific Notification (Email, Calendar, Messaging) or silence an alert for a specific notification, use the following:



Phone

  1. Press Menu
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Touch Sound
  4. Tap Phone ringtone to select a ringtone option

Mail

  1. From the applications menu, Touch Email (touch Gmail for Gmail accounts)
  2. Press Menu
  3. Touch Email settings
  4. If the you need to change the email account, tap on Default email account and select the account you wish to modify.
  5. Tap on Notifications
  6. From Notifications menu, tap on Select ringtone to select a specific ringtone OR selectVibrate. You may also select Silent under the Select Ringtone option if you do not want the unit to ring or vibrate.

Text Messaging

  1. From the applications menu, touch Text Messaging
  2. Press Menu button
  3. Touch Messaging settings
  4. Scroll down to Text messaging settings, touch Select ringtone to select a specific ringtone OR select Vibrate.
    You may select Silent under the Select ringtone option if you do not want the unit to ring or vibrate.
  5. Click here for instructions on creating and using custom notifications for text messages.

Calendar

  1. From the applications menu, Touch Calendar
  2. Press Menu button
  3. Touch Settings
  4. Under Reminder settings, tap on Select ringtone to select a specific ringtone OR select Vibrate.
