New Naxa 5001 Won't Connect Because Resound App Is Too Old For My Android

The Resound app is no longer compatible with Android 6.0 and below. This means that if you are using an Android device with Android 6.0 or below, you will not be able to connect your new Naxa 5001 to the app.

There are a few things you can do to fix this problem:

Update your Android device to Android 7.0 or higher. This is the most reliable way to fix the problem. You can check for updates by going to Settings > System > Advanced > System update.

Use a different app to control your Naxa 5001. There are a few different apps available that can be used to control hearing aids, such as the Widex Remote Control app and the Phonak Remote app.

Contact ReSound customer support. If you are still having trouble connecting your Naxa 5001 to the Resound app, you can contact ReSound customer support for help.

Here are some additional tips for connecting your Naxa 5001 to the Resound app:

Make sure that your Android device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Naxa 5001.

Make sure that the Resound app is up to date.

Restart your Android device and your Naxa 5001.

Try connecting your Naxa 5001 to the Resound app again.
