Write Protected Olympus 820

how can I fix my camera??? when i am starting to take pictures, WRITE PROTECTED will always appear in the monitor..and they said that the memory card is locked but my MEMORy card doesnt have one...

Greetings - If your memory card does not have a small switch on the side used to tongle between lock and unlock you may need to try formatting the card using your computer (connecting your memory card to the computer using a USB card reader or use a built-in computer card slot (some computer do not have this slot) -

1. Right click on it and select format

2. Change the Filesystem to FAT not FAT32 on the format options and click 'Format'

Put back the memory card to the camera - it should now be good
