Out Of Focus Filming

Filming volleyball matches using IAF ... previously successful with no focus problems.  Recently, picture is going in and out of focus, sometimes for prolonged periods to the degree you cannot view images.  Happening with increasing frequency.  Using a tripod with a stationary camera angle and picture setting.
