Cd Player Stops Playing New Cd's For One Or Two Seconds And Then Starts Again.

I'be had this player five years and only used it ten or twenty times.Everything works fine but the CD player plays CD's for one minute then stops for three or four seconds then starts again.Sometimes it stops completely and display says nocd.I've cleaned it four or five times but that hasn't solved the problem.Does that little black rubber belt in front that turns CD mechanism need replacing? Thank you! PS I've only used the CD player 10 or 20 times and everything else works fine-radio,speakers,volume,display,just that CD stop and start like it's skipping because it keeps playing song from where it left off-doesn't start over from very beginning.

Sounds like a bad lens try the Philips lens cleaner SVC2330/10' or replace the lens.

Hope that is helpful.
