Recording Mode Selection Ability

This concerns a philips voice tracer model vr 9370. I cannot find where i can view a user manual for this unit. I have located the manual for models lfh0865, lfh0884, or lfh0898. This manual was helpful, but it does not describe how to select between the various recording levels.
