Unfortunately we are not pogo so I can not validate you speaking with a Pogo Rep regarding your account. However, I can provide a few details regarding your issue.
First, let me reassure you about your tokens. The amount in your Pogo Account remain yours whether you are a Club Pogo Member or a non-paying member. Therefore, your tokens will not be removed from your account until YOU spend them yourself.
Overall, Whatever tokens you earned are yours to keep and spend whether they were earned during Club Membership or Standard, or back and forth continuously. The amount you accumulated remains as is until you spend them.
On a final note: Once you become a Club member again, you will receive a few gems as a token of appreciation from Club Pogo.
