I Have Been Chared The Yearly Membership Twice. How Do I Get One Credited Back?

I recieved an add in July 26 that said get 10% off yearly membership. so I did that for $39.99. and recieved confirmation July 29th. I recieved notice that my renewel for membership was to be taken out August 9the I recieved confirmation that was done. so Now I have paid for 2 years and fwant one refunded! ou sent a misleading email about membership!! Change the way you try to ger newcomers. What I recieved is a welcome to POGO. I am already a long time member. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i Have teh copies of the emails sent so send me a fax number ans I will share them! Sonna

Hello Boxqueen,

Sorry for your frustration. However, this is Helpowl.com, not Pogo Games. Therefore, we can not accomodate your request. However, we can get you going in the right direction to resolve your issue.

Pogo Games uses a Pre-Authorization process when billing a customer. This process verifies the funds are available in your account approximately 7 days prior to the actual charge of your card.

This pre-authorization process can temporarily appear as a duplicate charge once the actual charge occurs, (which is usually around 7 days later).

In other words, Pogo received verification from your card's company that the funds requested are available and will be placed in a pending status until the actual date Pogo charges your card. (This pre-authorization and actual charge can overlap but clear up in a day or two at the most)
