How To Get Quicken 2008 From A Desktop To A Laptop In Order To Open Files On Zip

I have quicken 2008 on desktop I have had computer issues and was able to load my data on a zip drive thinking that I would be able to open on my laptop. The files for opening the data were not transferred. I have critical information that I need to get to and I am wondering what my options are.
