Why Has My Quicken 2008 Starteed To Put Chcksin Alpha Order Instead Of By Date

My quicken 2008 delux has suddenly started putting my entries into my check register in alpha order instead of date order. I have used quicken for years, and this is a new flaw to me. I have had this edition and used it for the last two years. I cannot find where I can fix this new twist. I am legally blind, and have found this quite difficult to work with. Can someone out there help me? I have only used quicken since I lost my sight, it has always been easy. This is very upsetting. Thanks
