The Remote Will Not Work,

you can turn the tv on using the front panel buttons, but then you can not do anything asthe only button that works is the power button I do get a setup screen Please help

the touch pads has a circuit board (this board includes the remote sensor too) that's taped onto the inside of the bezel. Sometimes it slips off and your symptom can occur. Other times the flimsy connector also gets damaged. You can test the remote by pointing it at the camera on your cell phone. It will show a LED lighting when you press the buttons. You can take the back cover off and ensure the circuit board is still attached correctly (it has double sticky tape holding it in place).
