Lawn Tractor Parts Ordered And Lost In Transit By Carrier.

Sears lawntractor parts were ordered on Jan 31st from the local Sears Retail Store. An empty package was delivered a few days later by UPS. I reported the loss to both UPS and the local store. Three visits to the local store requested that a reorder be generated. No action has been taken, other that the store is filing a claim with UPS. My purchase contract with Sears included the price of the parts plus shipping charges. Why must I await resolution of the issue between Sears and UPS? I had no control over method of shipment.
