The Chain Stops Even With Slight Pressure And Won't Cut. Brand New Chain
I rented the unit to try it before I buy one. Brand new chain. It worked for a few minutes and then the chain just won't spin under even slight load.

Are you positive you have bar oil in the reservior? Also, if you are CERTAIN that you do, that the oil is actually making it TO the bar? Try removing the bar and chain, and with the side cover off, start and run the engine at high, but not redline RPMs and see if oil comes out of the oiler hole near the bar studs. If it does, then let me know, if not then you either have no oil in the reservoir, or your oiler is not working.
