Aux Keeps Lighting Up On Remote, Remote Will Only Turn System On & Off - Even Wh

For example, I hit 23 (for channel 23) - nothing happens but AUX lights up. Cannot change channels, adjust volume or go to grid. Will only turn system on & off. Help!
