Do I Still File Paperform 1040 When Turbotax Filed Extension?

I did not have TT e-file my taxes--I owed so I was going to mail my 1040 myself. However, last night I had TT file an extension to IRS along with 1/2 of what I owe the IRS. Question- do I still mail the paperform of my 1040 along with my W-2s with a note that TT filed an extension for me - OR- did TT e-file my 1040 when they filed an extension on my behalf? TurboTax=TT
