There are two different ways that you can go about this. You can visit your local Verizon Store and have them transfer the plan to the other phone. Or you can dial *611 and listen to the options where the automated answering will walk you through what to do. If you plan on changing your plan to something else, make sure you have the amount of money required for said plan on the phone, then go through the steps to change it. If you just want to outright cancel the plan and not get another one, let it run out and just don't put anymore money on it. If you are going to use the same plan on the new phone as you do on the old, you don't have to cancel the plan at all, it will be automatically transferred with everything else.
