Receiving Junk Text Messages

I am receiving junk text messages all times of the day and night. They are selling junk, wanting to claim your prize, etc. How can I get my cell number on the no call list? Am I being charged for all of these unwanted text messages? Another question. Everytime my daughter sends me video of the grandchildren or pictures with lots of data, my phone says to log online to FlixPix. I don't know how to use FlixPix and don't want to. Can I have them come straight to my phone like before with my old phone? Thanks,

You have to call Verizon. We don't contract cell phones.
