Want To Switch My Verizon Phone # To A Different Devise.

I m a verizon customer -- mobile phone -- 510-409-6801. my phone - a bb tour 9630 has tracking ball problem. Big hassle. Friend gave me an older bb. I want to transfer my number to that phone. (I plan to get a new Iphone when next one comes to market...soon.
