Freezer Too Cold And Refrigerator Warm

Why does my freezer become too cold and the refrigerator is warm on my Whirlppool EB9SHKKXVQ 01 refrigerator? I have had a technician out once before to correct the problem and he couldn't tell me what caused it to do that. Now it has done it again. What can be done to correct the problem permanently or prevent it from happening again. Can I fix it myself without paying for another service charge.
