Whirlpool Wed9400su0

My whirlpool duet dryer is not beginning it's cycle. It turns on, lights and buttons work, however when pressing start it beeps and 'sensing' lights up. No matter what cycle I set it on it will not start. After a little research I tried to trouble shoot and got the error code 'P:3E' to display. I believe that means the thermal fuse is blown? I have no clue, just what I feel I've gathered from reading. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. What is this error? How can I get my dryer back and running

When this happens, confirm that you've selected the right dryer settings. To start drying the dryer control knob should be set to the "Automatic" or "Timed" cycle. If the "Wrinkle Reduction" option on some models is selected, the dryer won't start immediately.
