Why Can't I Comment On Yahoo News Articles?

I am logged into Yahoo, I am reading an article on Yahoo News, and when I try to comment at the bottom of the article, I click on "Comment Using". I get a drop-down menu offering "Facebook, Yahoo, AOL, and Hotmail", so I click on Yahoo (even though I am already logged into Yahoo and reading Yahoo News). Immediately a get a screen which is blank, it remains for a few seconds, and then I am returned to the article but my comment is not accepted. I am discovered that this ONLY happens when the articles are political in nature. WHY?
