Credit Card Purchase

You need to WRITE to the company who issued the credit card that has the erroneous charges IMMEDIATELY.  You have to identify the charges, the amount and WHY you believe the charge is not yours. This is called a DISPUTE. The financial institution that issued your credit card must REMOVE the charge while the investigation is being conducted. A telephone call WILL NOT preserve your rights. Most of the time, any charge below $25 is removed without an investigation due to the high volume of disputes in the Chargeback Department. The chargeback can be disputed by the business that has charged your credit card by producing a receipt or a confirmed purchase or order. The process has five stages. You have to be persistant and move quickly. If you miss a deadline for responding, you are responsible for the debt. Good luck to you.
