2010 Kia Soul More bang for your buck.

This is a great little car. It has served me very well for the past 5 years. I was considering a Honda CRV or a Toyota RAV4 but I could not bring myself to pay extra $$$ for a brand. Not only that but the Kia soul comes standard with a awesome stereo, Bluetooth, and heated seats. Not to mention that the back seat is very roomy and comfortable for passengers. I also love the skid control and braking options that is allows on slippery roads. This is a excellent choice for a small practical car that you use mainly to get around in a city. The only downside is the performance on highway but that is to be expected with the high profile and boxy shape. My daughter didn't like the look of the car initially but she learned to drive it and now understands why I chose this model. Visibilty is great, you feel as though your in a larger vehicle because it is roomy in the seating areas and you sit higher up than other small cars. The length of the car is shorter than my husbands 96 Impreza. Easy to park and I also love that it will fit in small spots. It had one of the highest safety ratings in 2009. Not so great if you are traveling on highway on a windy day but getting around the city it is awesome. If you like to travel a lot with the family (camping) this may not be the car for you because there is not much storage unless you fold the 60/40 back seat down but that would limit the number of passengers you can take with you. Perfect for family of three or a couple on the longer road trips.
