Do not point the telescope at the Sun! Children should always have adult supervision while observing. Never use a Meade® telescope to look through the telescope or viewfinder as it is too late. Do not look at or near the Sun will cause instant and irreversible damage to the observer that damage has occurred until it is no warning to your eye. WARNING! Looking at or near the Sun. Eye damage is often painless, so there is moving.
