My Uverse Box

ok So all the shows do record and for some reason we watch them in our living room and they work fine and do no skip at all....but when we go in the bedroom and decide to watch them on that box we try to play them and all they do is skip and pause and we cannot watch them at all. Also when we rewind live TV and try to play it after we rewind it it does the same thing. We have reset our box multiple times with no help. We do keep Our modem in the bedroom and it seems to be working just fine. Please can you help me with this. I need to know if our box is messed up and if we might need new boxes or something. We do have the "older" boxes but like I said that one in the bedroom seems to be the only one right now not wanting to work.
