The Black & Decker LST136 trimmer uses an automatic line feed system, which means that the line will advance automatically as needed while you're trimming.
To use the automatic line feed, you'll need to make sure the trimmer is turned on and that the line is properly installed in the spool. As you trim, the line will gradually wear down, and the automatic feed system will release more line to compensate for this.
