What Is This Ripoff??

I tried classmates.com months ago for, then subscribed for three months being told by you that i would have better contact availiblity. Turns out that when I try the "better contact availibility I get nothing but pictures of credit cards and prices. This shows that you people are a ripoff. I called before and was told that I had three free subscriptions and to wait a "couple or three weeks" and "see what happens". This is a very poor way to run a business to it's paying customers. Now I call and I never get a callback. I did get through, however and told the operator I wanted to cancel my subscription and I was told that it would cost me $35.00 to cancel this $7.50 subscription. YOU ARE A BIG RIPOFF. Expect contact from the BBB, FCC, FTC, OIG, State and National, two of my Senators, and my Congresswoman. SOON.

The earlier answer is difficult to understand, as you've told us you've already done what it suggests.

As noted, we're an independent help site not connected with Classmates. By all means complain about Classmates to the agencies you've enumerated. You may however first want to read the instructions at http://www.classmates.com/sitesearch/help/article?articleId=4384&keywords=cancel. If you think there might have been a miscommunication, you might also want to call Classmates again and perhaps talk to a supervisor.

An additional or alternative course would be to use a complaint site such as https://www.gripeo.com/ or http://www.consumeraffairs.com/, each of which is designed to get action from the offending companies.
