On A 99 Ford Expedition, Is There An Emergency Release For Lift Gate?

i can hear the lock actuate, i can insert key, tried the electrical swithces in the suv and it still wont open

The inner panel will have to come off because most likely the connecter rod that works the latch has come off and needs to be re-connected. its just a little plastic clip that keeps the rod in the hole on the latch assembly those get loose over time and let the rod slip out or break all together. If its broken you can use a wire bread tie to do the clips job temporarily
