Measurements For Connecting Bar For 61969 - 12 In. Miter Saw

61969 - Chicago Electric 12 in. Double-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw.I bought this miter saw but it does not have the connecting bar that connects the lower guard to the rest of the machine so the blade guard doesn't move properly. I contacted Harbor Freight and ordered the part (Part 124 Connecting Bar) but they called back later and said the part is out of stock and they weren't sure when it would be back in stock. It's the only piece missing and I don't feel comfortable using it without the blade guard in place. Is there any way to get the dimensions of the Connector Bar? Maybe I can get someone to manufacture or 3d print something with the same dimensions.
