My Hotmail Account Is Sending Dodgy Messages Out And I Have Not Sent Them.

How do I resolve my hotmail account sending people dodgy messages out. I think it has been hacked into or there is virus. Please help me resolve this imminently.

What you're describing is called Phishing. The best way to resolve this issue is to immediately change your password to something only you know (write it down somewhere), and to scan your computer for any sort of spyware, viruses, and malware to ensure that your computer, or device you use to access your email account, is secure. Also, notify all of your contacts so they won't be lured in as well from any emails sent from your account that weren't from you. Once you ensure your device is secure and you change your password, your account will be safe once again, so don't worry. Just be careful about what links you click on and what sites you visit and things you download.
