How Do I Regain Access To My Hotmail Account After It Has Been Hacked?

I am receiving a message every time I try to log into my hotmail account, saying that I have been blocked because someone hacked into my account. It is imperative that I regain access as I have a ton of important information in my account (including flight information, wedding invoices, just to name a couple). Is there any way that I can get access back, even if it is just for one time in order to forward my important messages to my new gmail account? I would like to stick with hotmail and not shift over to gmail... I would really really appreciate any help! Thanks, Cher
