Fridge Isn't Cooling??

My fridge is not cooling, neither the freezer or refrigerator compartment are working. The lights go on, but the contents remains warm. Lately, the issue has been only with the freezer, which would not cool enough, despite the level set to maximum. Today, both the freezer and refrigerator are no longer working and the front panel with the ice/water dispenser is disabled.

If the unit is not cooling, it could be low on refrigerant or the compressor has gone out.  The problem may be due to a circuit board (Pt#WR55X10656 - cost $135 at Appliancepartspro.com) problem since the water has been disabled too.  I would check around for a reasonably priced repairman. Since a new unit would cost over $1300, it would be worth having it checked out.  And it may be cheaper to buy the part and have it installed instead of letting the repairman order it.
