Will Not Go Forward

tractor will go reverse but not forward, bought part #532 10 57- 09 because this broken spring was found but have no idea where it goes. thanks for any help you can give

Why is my riding mower not moving forward?

A blocked fuel filter can keep gasoline from flowing to your mower's engine in adequate supply, resulting in a lawn mower that isn't drivable. Damaged or clogged air filters also can prevent your lawn mower from going forward or in reverse simply because the engine will overheat quickly.

The forward valve is bypassing. This could be due to an internal leak at the selector valve,a bad seal/gasket, or a stuck relief valve.
