Do You Honor Partner Airline 'miles'?

Sorry, This is not a complement, but you did not have a category for 'Questions' My question is this; I have saved many miles on my ALASKA AIRLINE Visa card, and cannot find a KLM flight on which to use these 'miles' Since you are a partner with Alaska Airlines, is there a possibility that I can use my Alaska Airlines 'miles' to plan a trip from SFO to JNB in Mid June returning early July?I would sincerely appreciate an answer asI find that Alaska Airlines seems to have only BAA flights available for their 'miles' customers, despite KLM & Delta etc being putative partners. This website is not associated with KLM or Alaska Airlines. It would be best to call KLM customer service at 1 (866) 434-0320. They should be able to answer your question.

Yes, you can redeem your Alaska miles to travel on their partner airlines which include Delta and KLM. Delta, KLM and Air France are part of an alliance called the Sky Team and they share some international routes & flights.

If you click on the Book Partner Awards online link you can actually search for participating airlines that travel to the destination you need. It doesn't mean that every destination in the world is possible using your miles, but the major destinations including JNB usually are. I did a sample search and found that you can use your miles to travel on DL flights from SFO to JNB. It may be possible to use them on KLM as well, but the DL flights were the first to appear.
