High Idle On 2008 Kia Sorento
I have a 2008 Kia Sorento 4x4 that sounds like it's about to take off when started up. It it so loud in park/neutral then idles down when shifting to drive or reverse then goes back to a loud, high idle while excelerating. Dealership replaced the transmission at 50,000 miles which fixed the shifting problem but the whining & idle noise just seems to be getting louder. Any ideas on what this might be? Throttle cable, idle control solenoid maybe????
