Please Help

Hi so about a month ago I got can ikon coolpix s4200 camera from Canada and I moved recently and I wanted to change my camera cause it had no battery, so I used an adapter and plugged it in .. But the charging light didn't light up !!?? Please help me ? What happened ?? BEFORE I PLUGGED IT IN THE CAMERA HAS 0%BATTERY. Thanks soo much

Since you have drained your Nikon COOLPIX S4200 battery to 0%, you should give the device the time to be charged. Plug in the charger and leave for a couple of hours. Try to turn on the device while the charger is connected. If this solution didn't work, the battery is the problem which requires replacement with a brand new one.
