No Sound At All...

I've hooked the speakers, DVD player and TV to it, three times and nothing... When the subwoofer plug touched the space on the back of the receiver, there was sound, but after plugging everything in, I got nothin'...I hope it's something simple...

Incorrect settings on your Onkyo receiver can result in no sound. ... Check the inputs and outputs to ensure they are correctly connected to the receiver. Adjust the volume controls so you can hear sound. The bare wires of the speakers should be in contact with the metal parts of the speaker terminal on the receiver.
