Usb Not Making Music

I have a mvh-s522bs pioneer radio. I have not activated the mtp option in the radio and when I connect to the usb with my iPhone and play music, it doesn't play through the radio. Anyone know the reason?

There are a few reasons why your Pioneer MVH-S522BS might not be playing music from your iPhone when you connect it to the USB port.

You might not have activated the USB mode. The MVH-S522BS has two USB modes: MTP and MSC. MTP mode is for transferring files between your iPhone and the receiver, while MSC mode is for playing music. Make sure that you have activated the MSC mode by following these steps:
1. Press the Menu button on the receiver.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Media.
4. Select USB.
5. Select MSC.
Your iPhone might not be compatible with the receiver. The MVH-S522BS is only compatible with iPhones running iOS 5 or later. If your iPhone is running an older version of iOS, you will need to update it before you can play music from it on the receiver.
There might be a problem with the USB cable. Try using a different USB cable to connect your iPhone to the receiver.

If you have tried all of these things and your iPhone still won't play music on the MVH-S522BS, you might need to contact Pioneer customer support for help.
