If not a member, or prefer other options available you can try one, or more, of the following steps.
If you (or your sister) have not done so already, she may want to review the Pogo Support page for some steps she can perform to see if she can resolve the java issue with the Canasta game. You can view the java support page here.
Or, she can try this little trick I picked up over the years of playing games on the Pogo Website whenever I have trouble loading a table or game.... Once she is in the main Canasta room and has decided on which table she would like to join, hold down the ctrl key, then click on the table, keep holding the ctrl key down until the table loads, then release. This may help her load the table and play without issues.
Please Note: Although, this tip may resolve your playing issue, it does not guarantee a resolution will come from this.
And lastly, you may benefit from the answer provided at the following link, which describes how a Club Pogo Member can access the chat option to contact a Pogo Rep for assistance. However, this only applies if your sister is a Subscribed Club Pogo Member
