I'm Trying To Assemble A Sears Craftsman 21' Lawn Mower, Model #247-38909.
I'm trying to attach the starter rope. The manual says that I should hold the blade control against the upper handle and pull the starter rope to the rope guide. While holding the blade control as described, I can only pull the starter rope a few inches before it gets stuck. I'm afraid that if I pull too hard, I might break the rope.
